I know this is completely uncalled for and kinda random, but maybe you’ll read it anyway…

but I just can’t believe my life right now. So much has changed in my life. I went from the girl nobody wanted to talk to because she wasn’t “cool” enough, and from the girl who felt like she was about to go through life alone, to a girl who’s now a strong, has friends who actually care about her and has thousands of people behind her every step of the way. I can’t believe this.

I know most of you know this already, but I was not nearly cool enough in high school. I was often ignored and people treated me as if I didn’t even exist. There was the occasional person who would talk to me in a class but that’s about it. I sat in the back of the classroom hoping that the teacher wouldn’t call on me, hoping nobody would pay any attention to me. I was never a “good” student. I got average grades and did just enough to advance. I never got involved with school activities because as soon as it was over I wanted to leave that dreaded place. I felt unwanted and felt like i was invisible to everyone.

Twitter has been the only place I felt as though I could be myself. I felt like this was the only place I could say how I felt and people actually listened to me. It was like a diary that people can read. I mean this when I say, most of you (my followers) know me better than my family probably does. You know what goes on in my life, goes on in my head and what goes on in my heart as well. Also, as many of you know, lately my karma has been great. I’ve been so blessed to be introduced to all of you. I know you say to me that I inspire you, and that I am your role model, but in all honestly, YOU inspire ME.

I know this is a touchy subject for everyone including myself, but we all know that I’m a bigger girl. I’m not “tumblr” worthy, and I’m not “model” worthy… and all throughout high school I felt I was unworthy of anyone. I think that’s why I had a huge problem making friends. I felt I didn’t deserve any. Only within the past year have I started to feel confident in myself. That weight really doesn’t matter. That what you look like is only a shell for who you TRUELY are. If people don’t take the time to get to know YOU, and only judge you for what you look like…. they are simply not worth your time. They can piss off. It’s taken me 18 years to figure this out. Sure, I still feel fat sometimes, but this is where you all come in. I could be so upset and feeling so insecure, but then you all pick me up. You’re all like little magical smile wizards with twitters, you really are. Without you all, I have no idea where I would be.

School was never my thing and as many of you know, I stopped going to college because I felt like I was taking a step back in life. I felt I didn’t belong. I felt out of place and uncomfortable. So like I said, I have no idea where I would be without you all. I wouldn’t be in school, or I would be, hating my life. I owe everything to you guys, and I will never not be grateful to any of you.

I went from the girl who would sit home on the internet every day because she had no friends and felt like she was invisible to everyone she knew, to the girl who has thousands of friends online and is now a voice for all the people who are currently feeling “invisible”. The same way you were all there for me and continue to be… is how I will always be here for you. Never forget that!<3
